Default Update on 172 project

Remember the 63, 172 that sat outside for 18 years? Well the restoration
is done except for the paint, the white is done but not the stripe. Test
flight was Feb 29th. The pictures are still at http://12.151.5.4/172 but I
haven't put up the newest ones yet. It was actually done since late
December, but due to snow and being advised not to break in the engine in
bitter cold, it had to hide in the hangar until the weather broke. Now for
the tough decision. Can't efford to keep three planes forever, which one to
get rid of...... Hmmmmm

A 68 180 Cherokee. under 1000 hours TT and a 67 182, a cherry one. Both
are great haulers, and the 170 travels very nicely. Hmmmm....

Thanks for the link... What a great way to spend your free time. Did you
have to have A&P guidence for anything? I am not sure how that works.
