Default Iran crisis 1946 and Yugoslavia

With the USSR stuck in northern Iran (Azerbaijan) in spring 1946, there
were Soviet complaints of incursions into Soviet airspace by two US
aircraft. I believe that Mosquitoes of 680 Sqn RAF undertook recce
sorties over southern USSR, but does anyone have details or a reference
for USAAF (or perhaps US civil or USN) involvement?

Second, in 1946 two USAAF C-47s were shot or forced down over
Yugoslavia. Anyone have further details of serial (tail) numbers, units
and departure and intended destinations?

Information is required for an upcoming book and all help will be
gratefully received and acknowledged.

Thanks

A couple years ago, on the Library of Congress site, I found a huge
file of information (prepared I think at Congressional request) about
American aircraft shot down or forced down during the Cold War.

Replaced my computer since then, so dont' have the url.
