Default Detached Retina and acrobatics

Any opinions or referrals to informaiton about the (in)advisability of
acrobatics (perhaps even limited to positive, 6G) after having a
detached retina repaired? 55 years old and no obvious reason for the
detachment (although the doctor thought Judo and acrobatics probably
didn't help

We've had a couple of pilots have the same problem, and even with scleral
buckling for retinal detachment our retina specialist said a high g
environment (which can significantly raise the intraocular pressure)
increased the risk for a repeat detachment.

You should ask your retina specialist specifically about this issue.
