Salida, CO and Boulder, Co area

Marfa, TX

Hobbs, NM

Warner Springs, CA

Thanks,

John,
Sundance Aviation at Moriarty, NM does rent out an LS-4 and they also have 2 Twin Grobs available for rent. There are no regular glider operations at Hobbs and Parowan and (to the best of my knowledge)there are also no rentals available at both airports. Good luck!
Thanks - Renny

This is nice and flat, but it would be extremely expensive to land out here.

Only one mention of Namibia so far - I'm a little surprised. Have you all seen the OLC posts? Pictures? Wow!

The Auxiliary-powered Sailplane Association (ASA)has an annual outing at Parowan, UT that includes towed gliders. We would provide a 2nd tow plane if there was adequate interest from pilots requiring tows, but would limit the number of towed gliders to around 14. Next year's meet is June 17-28, 2015.. Catered meals are provided and there is on-airport camping.

Parowan provides a wide variety of scenic flights, and flights to the Grand Canyon are possible most years (but not this year). There a lot of activities for the crew as well as the pilots on non-flying days (there was only one of those this year).

The ASA will be advertising the event in Soaring early next year.
