Default PowerFlarm Update Problem

Dan, I disconnected the display this morning and tried upgrading. No joy, same results as described above. I think my PF core has lost the ability to read USB thumb drives. If it wasn't for the mandatory firmware upgrade, I think everything else would be working just fine. Thanks for your tip!

I've found I have 100% success when I disconnect the Butterfly Display, then power up with usb in, and 0% when it is connected (mine is an early core, 169). Once it is done, I reconnect and check it went through. I was a beta tester for 2.7 and it was suggested as a good idea. Adds a couple of seconds but has proven to be a good idea - for me at least.
USB 2 less than 32 GB is required for the stick.

I thought 6.0 was for the brick and 6.02 was only for the portable units to correct a problem that only applied to the portable.

My understanding is that if you already upgraded a brick to 6 you dont have to upgrade again to 6.02. Only the portables need the upgrade. But wouldnt hurt to upgrade the brick as well.

Default PowerFlarm Update Problem

HI JJ,

There is only one software for both the Core and the Portable. The bug fix
in version 6.02 is only needed in the Portable - so there is no pressing
need to upgrade a Core from 6.00 to 6.02. 6.00 is no longer available.
6.02 works great in both Core and Portable units.

Best Regards,

I have seen some USB sticks that just wouldn't communicate - if you format them it has always solved the problem.
