It's been quite a while since I've flown an HG, but since the
description of this newsgroup is "All aspects of sailplanes and hang-
gliders" and these guys are having so much fun...

Thanks, Gary!
Got my HG AT (aero tow) endorsement in Florida. The tow pilot looked
like he was having so much fun, had a go in the Dragonfly too.
It's strange landing a hang glider on wheels. I've also landed on
floats, even stranger!

Too bad the sailplane community, hang gliders and paragliders dont
have more interaction in the U.S. I tried paragliding with my daughter
in a tandem and many, many of these guys understand lift on a micro
level.

Very Good Gary. The photography is so good from above or below you can
begin to tell the shape of the thermals. (Narrow below. Wider higher)

Thank you. Is this the HG FBO near Orlando?

Yes, but in another way they do. It is surprising how many sailplane
pilots began in Hang Gliding- including many top competition and
record holders. Additionally, at the World Record Encampment I hold
each summer in deep south TX, we have seamless integration of all 3.
Getting the HG/PG guys to get along is the biggest challenge!

Yes, Quest Air. Great people there. Owned by SP/HG/Fixed Wing/Rotary
pilot and A&P, Russell Brown.

Best Regards,

Gary
