Default Window seal

Just installed new window seals in my Cessna 172. My AP was also involved to
make sure they fit properly. Yesterday while at 5500 my wife (copilot)
complained about a draft on her face. We determined it came front the front of
the widow. I checked today and found a small gap which would let air pass into
the cabin.
What are your suggestion to close this gap? I am tempted to get some insulation
from the local hardware store and fix it, but my AP will frown on that.
Any suggestions?

If it's small, a dot (or line) of clear silicone caulk will do the trick.
