I liked it. Buy it on eBay for about 70-80% of the new price, then sell it at
the same price when you're done.

I used faatest.com testprep for the written and got 100%. The two tools work
well together.

I have an old tape version of the King Instrument Pilot Course. King
gives a credit towards the purchase of a current course for turning in
the old tapes. Maybe Sporty's does the same thing.

Dean,
A friend loan us sporty's instrument course video tapes. We had
trouble staying awake while watching them. I expect the tapes were
reformatted into DVDs.

If your goal is to pass the insrument written, invest $15 in the
Gleim's book. If your goal is to know the materials well, invest in a
couple of books by Bob Gardner, Ralph Butcher, Rod Machado etc. (used
books are quite cheap). You probably get more out of instrument flying
by buying a good flight simulator program such as the Elite and use it
in conjunction with the flight training syllabus.

I tried a couple of times but I kept falling asleep within 5 minutes of
turning it on
