R22 Helicopter POH
Don't forget to show up with a precalulated W&B for both full and empty too.
It helps to know how roughly how much the examiner weighs. You should not use a store bought POH for the ride. Use the POH from the helicopter your'e gonna be in. The helicopter you take the ride in may have equipment that modifies the limitations or performance from a standard machine. (Mine has several things that dramatically alter these.) Use the checklist in the FAA examination guide too! Bart Not sure how the DPEs are around you, but if they all operate like the examiners around here, if you show up for a checkride without the POH for the ship you're flying and a current copy of the FAR/AIM, you're gonna fail. I show up for checkrides dressed like a professional (nice slacks, oxford shirt...) and with several million pounds of books & charts. |
