Wow... Pax flew Convairs in the 80's.. And the 90's, and the 2000's. Up here in Alaska, at least. ERA Airlines only just recently retired them, mainly due to the obscene expense of outfitting them with approved cockpit "safety" doors. The FAA helping industry, once again... Happy Flying!
