No, even worse: it had 112 pistons (4x28-cylinder P&W Wasp Major).

Hated the C-124,
that plane just wallowed all over the sky on hot days..
was so sick on one flight, when it came time to jump, I fell out the
door and rolled down the side of the plane.
when I landed, I pulled the parachute over me and just lay there.
medics checked on me, and I told them to leave me alone, and let me die
in peace..

Lost a guy out the door on one too. door was open, shuffling to the
door , and he bumpped the d-ring on his reserve chute, out it comes
the wind from the door grabs it and out he went.. we looked for him for
hours.. damned near broke his back from the yank..

& trying to back a loaded truck and trailer up that steep ramp..ARRGHHH
C-130 was easy to load, as was the C-141.
