Default My thanks for your contributions

I have the honor and pleasure of thanking the following folks for donating their
dollar to "One Buck Weir" and his race for governor. For those of you who don't
follow California politics, I got 2500 votes and came in 30th in a field of 135.

Jack and Jayna, our Native American friends from Dallas (A Sacagawea gold
dollar). They are our "sleazy out-of-state contributors" who want their own
Indian Gaming Casino license when I win {;-)

Stella from Woodbury
Russell and Jen from Richardson
Graham from Bradenton
Rich from Gig Harbor
Paul and Margene from Blaine
Greg from Saint James
John from Salem
Ross from Sherman
Wood from Friendswood
Turner from Mojave
Del from Anchorage
Barry from Sacramento
Ralph and Helene from Culver City
Williams from Livermore
George and ??? from Greenville
Kevin from Spencer
George from Middletown

I specifically did not list "nicks" or full names on the chance that some folks
wouldn't want to have it known that they were involved in a political race.

Again, the lot of us may not have won, but we certainly didn't lose. Running a
clean campaign and preaching the general aviation gospel at each opportunity
certainly was a "win" for all of us.

Thanks again.

Jim

Stella from Woodbury - Hmm, wonder who this might be? :-)

My eyes are watering right now, I'm laughing so hard. Must be all that
Thanksgiving beer + turkey + beer + stuffing + beer + Packers loss + more
"celebratory" beer + did I mention the Packers lost ...to Detroit!!

Jim - It was fun on this end, following your campaign, seeing your photo in
Newsweek, your name on a ballot on the CBS Evening News, reading about you
on the Governor's Race web links, etc.

Thank *you* for involving us in your once in a lifetime adventure.

Hey, move to Texas now. I will vote for you, for govenor *or* President
(we are desperate to get rid of P-49 and that almost random 3000 square
miles of TFR that wanders around the state whenever Bush visits).

And you should do even better in your campaign. In Texas we don't hold
with that antiquated notion that a person should be limited to one vote, or
be required to still be alive - for that matter. G

No, but if you will tell me what format you sent it (paypal, mail, etc.) I'll
certainly take another look...sorry about that.

Pfffft. It was only a buck. Maybe it got lost in the mail. They tell you
not to mail cash. I was just hoping I'd get a buck's worth of access, and
it was after all my first cash contribution to any political campaign, ever.

What was really satisfying was pulling that lever, and convincing my wife to
vote for you too.

Craig from Mountain View is hereby added to the list.

It is entirely possible, in the first week after the nominations opened, that my
"system" for filing donations wasn't quite as well organized as the next two
months.

Your buck was appreciated. Your votes were priceless.
