S McF I don't concur, I have sources of information you do not. Franklin On the internet no one knows you're a whack job. Correct and no one knows aviation and has the contacts better than me. Sorry if that rankles you. Not at all, it amuses me, see also the definition of irony. Someone didn't put the loon mallet back and now that I need it I can't find it. It's all good though! Please, inform us all of your decades spent working at Groom Lake....and reverse engineering all manner of fascinating and advanced alien hardware. Richard, don't waste your time on that sock, "Monkey". The sock belongs to someone who is now trying to post with a name similar to mine in order to go around rovoking people such as yourself. It's a typical kook trick. http://www.searchlores.org/way_kook.htm More than just spoofing, "Monkey" likes to hijack real-life identities. he then weaves a story based half on fact and half on fiction. AFAICT he's been hanging around the avaiation groups for some time under various names where he fantasises about being a pilot. He says he used to work for the Navy Seals and reckons he's in contact with famous special forces operatives, and so on. SIGH. When his bluff gets called he isn't able to make a credible reply, so he tries to put up a vast smokescreen of sock postings to deflect attention. He seems to spend most of his waking time posting elaborate spoofs and trolls. "Monkey" became increasingly destructive in alt.comp.freeware where he had been posting as "David W". In the end something had to be done. The anonymous mixmaster server at Gabrix went so far as to block his posts to a.c.f. I wrote some messages which explained a few of his activities. All this has left him very embittered. http://preview.tinyurl.com/l6ulo3 OR http://groups.google.com/group/rec.aviation.piloting/msg/f2d224687d2c99bb http://preview.tinyurl.com/maghlj OR http://groups.google.com/group/alt.comp.freeware/msg/3d5703183eab2b11 |
