Has anyone noted that per: http://www.nima.mil/portal/site/nga01/

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
(NGA) announced November 18, 2004, it is
considering withdrawing its Flight Information
Publications (FLIP), Digital Aeronautical Flight
Information File (DAFIF), and Navigation Planning
Charts from public sale and distribution.

This does not sound like good news for anyone outside of commercial
venders.

It looks like an opportunity for someone that likes publish maps and is
willing to suffer the hassle of licensing the databases.
