I guess the manufacturer only has the resources to support the most popular operating systems. There is no Linux app either.

If it annoys you that much then why not read some programming tutorials and write your own app?

A nexus tablet can be obtained for very little investment and the tablet communicates with the Nano via blue tooth. Another device to carry / charge but seems to work well.

The Nano IV flyer says it will be "bluetooth compatible" with iOS and Android. Maybe a new app is being made and maybe it will also be compatible with the older versions of the Nano?

Any more info about the Nano IV? Have only seen parts of the flyer in FB, and seen that the screen is 3,5"

Last year I asked Andrej of Naviter whether there would be an iOs version of Oudie Liverpool and he said no. There was a specific reason. Sorry, I cannot remember why that was going to be much more difficult for them than an Android version. I think it may have been due to a different Bluetooth implementation.

I changed from my iPhone 5 to a Galaxy S6 and am pretty happy. I believe my Oudie IGC is pretty much the same device as a Nano3 except for the screen size.

Apple is very possessive of their Bluetooth interface. Not many devices are approved to use it. I'm not sure why - maybe thew view it as a security risk - but wifi is open.

A jillion iPhones and iPads, yet you leave iOS out of "most popular"?
Don't go home tonight - wait for the angry, protesting Apple users to
leave your area.
