You know you're into the edges when your "scale model" plane is heavier
than some legal *piloted* flying machines.

(Some guy built a C-130 on about the same scale, which would do LAPES or
paradrops...)

The dump mechanism in the back would toss out pretty much anything up to
a shoebox size (they had a dummy package with a parachute extractor
attached), and the "paratroop" dropper would push out whatever fit in
the conveyor belt (toy paratroops, of course).
