Fuel Tanks C172
I have a 68 C172 with the 38 gal tanks. I do not want to put a fuel
tank in the baggage compartment. Has anyone done the mod to change the wing tanks to Cessna Long Range tanks or AC Conversion Tech out of Calif. If so how hard was it. Also I think that the Flint tanks are too much work and too costly. Yeah I'm cheap. |

Fuel Tanks C172
Call them. I did, and the cost was reasonable (in aircraft
terms)...$4500 to $5500 depending on whether you got the 15 or 30 gal upgrade. I haven't gotten it yet, but will next time I'm in Calif. They said it takes about two weeks to do it all, including the paint touchup. |
