Condolences to the families and friends of the deceased. That is terrible news.

Is there any word on the launch method for the LAK Mini?

Terrible to hear of these tragic losses. On the Mini-Lak incident, perhaps I am looking at it incorrectly or maybe it was twisted in the accident but in the images, the left winglet appears to be upside down?

Yes, it appears that the winglet was torn free of its structural interface, and has rotated around the tube that extends into the wing to react bending. All sorts of strange things happen when lightweight structures hit the ground hard.

Are there any details on what caused with these accidents?

In Italy (Tuscany) too. Skip the news article, full of unuseful hearsay.

Winch launch accident.

We've also had 4 very bad landings (2 outlandings, 1 collision with trees while approaching home airport, 1 crash emergency landing in an active golf course due to PTT).
