Default Captive Flights with asymmetric underwing stores

Dear Group,

Has anybody some experiences with flight tests carrying heavy asymmetric
loads in preparation for separation tests?

I would be interested in:
- test profiles (What individual tests were conducted during the mission?)
- required / desired / useful parameter
- number of flights
- special considerations
- safety issues

TIA!

Frank

Most of what you are asking for, for aircraft that went into
production after Vietnam is considered to be desimination restricted
data at the least and highly classifed at the other end.

Yes, but you probably know the drill about public info
and all that. You might try:

Dungan and Clark, "Flight testing large lateral asymmetries
on highly augmented fighter/attack aircraft", AIAA-1994-2138.
It deals with clearing the F/A-18A/D for carriage of a 2000+ lb
guided bomb on the outboard stations, and it's publicly available
through AIAA.

Thanks Dave!

That looks like the kind of info I was searching for!
