We were satified last year when we purchased our Mooney using
airloans.com. We got 6% this time last year but don't know what the
interest rate is today. Bill Letke was our guy's name. Pretty painless
all transactions using overnight and fax.

Good luck!!

I have used MBNA twice, zipped right thru both times. The only downside
is that paperwork has to be Fedex'ed back and forth across the country.

I financed both my aircraft with loans from credit unions. One of them doesn't
do that anymore. If you're a member of one, check it out. If you have a secure
job and a good balance in a 401K, it may be advantageous to take a loan out
against that. With mine, the interest was paid back into my account, so there
was effectively no charge, but the loan had to be repaid in something like five
years. You also have to balance the interest against the usual return and the
interest you would be paying elsewhere to know if it's a good deal.
