But not very! Do you know the full story of Bully Hill Vneyards?

No, only the useless stuff.

I'd like to read it.

You can find a lot of info by Googling "Bully Hill Vineyards." But in
brief, Walter Taylor was a member of the family that owned Taylor
Wine Co. in Hammondsport, NY. The firm was sold to Coca Cola, and
before long, Walter incurred the displeasure of the CC execs by
criticizing what they were doing to Taylor wines.

Fired, he began his own vineyard but CC went to court and prevented
him from using his own name on his wine labels. He managed to have a
lot of fun making the CC company look foolish.

A few years later, tragically, he was terribly injured in an auto
accident and since has died.

Others may wish to correct or add to this account.

Take a look at his labels, especially the early ones on which he
crossed out his surname.

So, once upon a time, Taylor made good wine?

Well, Taylor wines were never a threat to Constantin Frank, but they
were drinkable.

For that matter, the few Bully Hill wines I tasted were not
outstanding, either; but I admired Walter's spunk.
