Chick Fighter Pilot Association
The Chick Fighter Pilot Association is a new presence on the web: the
web page went up at the end of June http://www.fighterchicks.com/
Here is an excerpt from the Welcome page:
Welcome to Fighterchicks.com, Home of the Chick Fighter Pilot and CFPA.
This page was started on June 30th, 2006 by a group of female F-16
pilots from Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. The bright idea came about
after roughly 4-5 bottles of wine and many, many shots. This is not an
official website and as it develops, we will make no guarantees or
promises that you won't be offended. If you don't like it, then see
ya.
To join CFPA, you have to qualify. The criteria include 1) you must be
a chick and 2) you must fly fighters.

Right off the bat they get it wrong!

They think the curvature of the Earth can be seen in
super-girl-fighter-pilot's visor! They are too ignorant to know they are
looking at the result of a visor with concave curvature, not the Earth's
curvature. To see the Earth's curvature seen in super-girl-fighter-pilot's
visor her plane would have to be hundreds of miles above the Earth's
surface. We all know Air Force fighter aircraft are good, but not that good!

Maybe it's just the site's webster who is 'high'!

"Tis wiser to remain silent and be suspected a fool than speak and prove it
so!"

I hate to be pedantic but last time I heard it was around 11 miles :-)

I know this is sexist but with the pics of some of them posted on their
site, I might have to 'check six' b/c they kind of look like dudes
needing a haircut.

Get 'em off combatant ships and out of front-line combat.

There's no shame in having traditional gender roles.

Out.

HEAR! HEAR!...make the crew all female or all male. Co-ed creates far
more problems that the the hinge Admirals or congress-people want to
admit.

Out.
