Default Soaring sites - N. Italy, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia.

Late August-early September 2006, taking my wife on a secondo luna di
miele (second honeymoon - doing this about every 3 years seems to work
so I can go soar on weekends) into northern Italy (Lake Como,
Castelrotto), then to Hungary - my mother's grandparents emigrated in
the 1860's - (Budapest, Eger, Kecskemet), Croatia (near Zagreb,
Dubrovnik, Pilvice Lakes) and Slovenia (Bled).

Any suggestions for soaring sites to "just happen to drive by"?

Have over 700 hours in gliders, fly a DG-300, have earned Gold Badge
with altitude and goal Diamonds.

Grazie, Koszonom, Hvala, and Hvala.

This site is near Budapest, offers ridge and thermal flying.
Have no idea what can you rent there nowadays.
Last I flew there was at the 1989 Old timer's meet.
