Default New Willaims Jet engine

From 4 Aug Aviation Week

ADAM AIRCRAFT'S A700 TWINJET MADE a 50 minute first flight 27 July.

Bird has a pair of Williams FJ-33's .

Quote.

The A700's FJ-33's, which are derived from Williams FJ44 powerplants,
are production versions rated at 1,200 lb thrust each. Scheduled for
FAA certification this year, the FJ-33's have met "design thrust and
low fuel-rate specifications," according to Gregg Williams, president
of Williams International.

End Quote.

Certified jet engines are getting smaller and smaller.

With size coming down, now need to get cost down to fit pocketbook
of the home builders and then watch out G.

Jim (Bede) eat your heart out.

Big John
