Default Lycoming Conical Engine Mount - lifespan

How long can one expect conical engine mounts to last? Is there a rule of
thumb as to when they should be changed?

Change them when they get distorted and start to crack. You will usually
start to feel abnormal engine vibrations when this happens.

Although by the time the this starts, there are a few "other" possible
causes as well...
