Default Vintage Parachute

I have a parachute last packed in Aug 1953. Inside the bag there is
the parachute (silk) cording, a harness marked US and 10084 Patent
Pend. Would anyone know how much it is worth or how to research it for
sale? It's in excellent condition and was just a back of the attic
find. Thanks in advance!
