Default Russian project "Holod" ......

Uzytkownik "Rostyslaw J. Lewyckyj" napisal w
wiadomosci ...
[snip...]

Umm Stinky, you get an F or 0 on that one!
HOLOD means hunger.
Hungry would be : HOLODNYJ masculine, HOLODNA feminine, or
HOLODNE for neuter. and HOLODNI for the plural in all genders.

Since the russian airforce project had to do with
supercooled fuels for aircraft 'xolod/kholod' would
have been the correct transliteration.

As far as you aren't from Ucraine Holod (холод in Cyrillic) means cold
and Golod (голод in Cyrillic) means hunger.
