Many long, slow climbs to 11,000 feet only to discover that it still wasn't high enough to clear the towering CUs. Super nice plane and you will like the performance... Let's put it in perspective: I am confident that many long decades from now, you grizzled, old and frail, with your loving children and grandchildren clustered around your final bed; I am absolutely confident that you will not suddenly raise up and say,"Damn, I wish I hadn't bought that turbocharged airplane." I just came back from the airport... One of the regular airport bums there just took delivery of his brand new Maule two days ago... When I looked through the side window as he taxied past all I could see was silly stretched lips from ear to ear... denny |

been by twice today to "check on it." The KAP140 may become your biggest maintenance headache. The one on the 172 that was in may club would eat servos. The one on the 182 worked fine. |

Yea, renewing or getting the King extended warranty on all the KAP140 componants in the aircraft is a real good idea for real short money compared.... |
