Default How many of you learned to fly from relatives?

Go for it! I've had a few different instructors, but the two best ones were
both taught to fly by their Dads. So there must be some special about it.

Just wondering what your experience was like and if you would
recommend it. I have an uncle that is an airline pilot and is CFI
rated, and he has offered to give me free instruction. We get along
great, so I think it's an excellent opportunity. Sure can't beat the
price...
