Default O-235 Powered Long-EZ

I'm considering buying one, wondering what I should plan for an engine
overhaul hourly reserve. TTE unknown, no logs, the plane is still flying off
its phase 1 hours, about 10 STOH (unknown quality). I'm told by the
builder/seller that it's an L2C model, but a fellow looked at the pictures
and thought it was a B or C model rather than L, said those were frightfully
more money to overhaul. Compressions are all mid to high 70's. I'm thinking
$15/hr s/b a safe assumption?
