Do any of you need help?

So I will start work on my PPL (or SPL, still trying to decide) late this
summer and I've been thinking building my own plane (kit or plan, still
trying to decide . But before I make the decision I'm thinking it would
help if I knew what it entailed. So if any of you folks are building a plane
in the San Fernando Valley area of L.A. and need a helper let me know. I was
a helicopter crew chief in the army (of course that was *cough20cough* years
ago), I'm pretty handy working on cars and woodworking. I've got little to
no experience in metal or glass work but I learn quick. I am serious about
this, I'm willing to put in some time on this with the right person.
