Default Lancair Legacy 2000

I just downloaded & installed a Lancair Legacy 2000 for FS2004 today from
flightsim.com. It is an incredible aircraft, and I highly recommend it for
anyone who wants a high performance single engine homebuilt. It is fully
compatible with FS2004, and I have been having a blast with it. Take
care.....

I am using FS2004 also, but how do you access new aircraft via the "change
aircraft" panel? I down loaded a couple of aircrafts from various sites,
placed them in the aircraft folder, but don't see them after opening
FS2004...What are the steps...

It may be that you have not noticed that they may have different
manufacturers names than you expected, and are really in the list all the
time. Go into the aircraft .cfg file for the new aircraft and look down the
list for ui_manufacturer=. The aircraft will be listed under that heading in
the drop down aircraft menu. If you wish, you can change that category and
move them into a more convenient heading.

Bob Christopher has indeed made a very, very nice model. I gave him some tips
for the VC and Bob S. gave him a lot of help with the basic model and flight
dynamics. But Bob C. himself pulled it all together to make a mavelous new
aircraft to play with!

I agree it is a beauty.

Isn't there a RPM indicator somewhere in the airplane?

Really

RPM gauge (and MP) at right side of cockpit. Shift-3 or use the VC.
