Default Need to learn dope and fabric work

I need to learn good old fashioned dope and fabric work, you know, using
butyrate dope and real cotton fabric. I'm building a 1920s replica,
want to make it authentic as possible.

My question -- will the EAA Fabric Covering workshop be useful? Even if
they use "the Poly Fiber covering process?" Is there much difference
between modern fabric covering processes and the old way?

thanks,
