Default K21 trim tightening?

The trim in our club's K21 is no longer effective and I suspect it is probably a simple matter to tighten up a nut somewhere below the front seat so there is more friction on the trim lever.

If anyone had a moment to confirm my suspicion and had any pointers, that would be appreciated.

Thanks! Is it accessible through the stick boot or does the seat pan have to come out?

There's also some usefull information in the flight manual on trim
adjustment. Is worth replacing the springs as well under the rear floor
pan. They tend to loose their pull after so many years of use. Very little
cost.
