Default Help needed with old STS LORAN

Hello. I'm going to be spending some time flying a plane equipped with
an old STS 120MC LORAN. It has no manual, and the owner of the plane
doesn't even know how to work the thing. I'm pretty good with tech
equipment, but this thing seems very...eccentric. Could anyone tell me
the very basics of how to make it work? That is, how to enter a
destination and go direct, and things like that? Or better yet, point
me to an online version of the operator's manual? I've searched the
web, but to no avail.

Thanks in advance,

Cap
