Default HMAS Brisbane reloads a Phalanx

hey Dave are the Phalanx .5's or 20mm? really can't tell from the size of
the barrels or the ammo the guys are loading - looks like 20mm to this old
sailor.

20mm tungsten core shell (I don't know if anyone still uses the original
Depleted Uranium cored shells). Fired at up to 6,000 rounds per minute.
Effective range up to 1.85km.

I have 3 spent shells complete with the chain thingy that attached them
together. I got them from a ship when this system was first deployed
back in the early '80s. They used depleted uranium then. The shells used
to glow in the dark.
