Default Dell Dimension 8300

I am buying a Dimension 8300

It will be equipedm with:

3GHz P4 HT
128 or 256 MB 9800 Radeon
512MB RAM
120 GB Hard Drive

how will this run FS2004
can I get 30-40 FPS with full visuals and AI?

Thanks,

Get more RAM. At least double it.

It will run FS2004 OK Trace, but don't feel you have to have 30 fps. Most
people get along fine with 20 as the max setting. I find that even when the
weather and complex scenery takes me down to 12 fps or so, I am still flying
OK and enjoying the sim. So the best of luck. It looks like a good machine
there. But yes, get some more RAM, you won't regret the extra bit of
expense. The paper round should cover it!
