Sitting here in Mobile, Alabama watching the storm track headed right
for us. Of course many are preparing for it and offshore rigs have
begun evacuating. We haven't made a decision to move the aircraft out
yet and that will probably happen tomorrow. With Brookley field
sticking out into Mobile Bay, it will go under water if Ivan hits
here. The regional airport sits up at about 218'msl so flooding isn't
such an issue. High winds are a concern of everyone though.
I've been through a number of big storms including Camile back in 1969
and there is a lot of comparison to that one.
Time will tell.
