Well South Florida is a pretty big place, you might want to be a bit more
specific. There may be some space available at F45 (West of W. Palm Beach).
They just built a new block of hangers there and I understand that the waiting
list kind of evaporated. (That was months ago, and I don't know the situation
today, but it is worth a call.)

thanks

Vaughn,

I may be relocating to S.Florida. I have the option to be Ft.Lauderdale
south to Miami. So anywhere I can find hanger space in the general area may
dictate where I put down stakes.

thanks

I would try Boca Raton, FXE or Lantana.

Hankal,

Yesterday (June 2/2004), I saw a flyer at LNA for immediate availability for
hanger space. I don't have any other info, but if Lantana is an option, let
me know and I'll get you the phone number.

Lots of new T-Hangars at KTMB - Kendall Tamiami Executive in South
Miami. About 50 seem like they will be finished in the next 2 months.
I think the price is $550/month. Other South Miami-Dade (i.e. X51)
airports have few if any available. Many, many airplanes are left
tied-down. If you use a canopy cover, fly weekly, wash every couple of
months and use an anti-corrosion spray about every 18 months, they
hold up well outside. Winter months are very mild, but it rains every
afternoon for an hour June-October. Check out North Perry in SW
Broward County. North Palm Beach County (F45) is very nice but way
north.

Marty,

Relocating to S. Florida may be in my future. A decision hasn't been made
yet.

I own a Glasair II.
