DCPilots for Washington, DC area pilots
There's a new email list for Washington, DC area pilots and pilots who
fly into Washington, DC's airspace: DCPilots, www.dcpilots.net. This list is a place to exchange thoughts about favorite destinations and to find other pilots to fly with to those destinations. If you want to talk about the latest general aviation gadget, that's welcome, too. Same thing goes for discussions about the best $100 burger -- chat away. Questions about the ADIZ? -- that's always okay. (And there are so many questions about the ADIZ!) Think of DCPilots as your local pilot lounge. DCPilots is a place to meet other pilots, chat about aviation, mention your local aviation service or product, or ask a question that only another pilot can answer. While DCPilots is a discussion list, local-area aviation businesses are welcome to contribute. Flight schools and flying clubs, for instance, may make announcements to the list. DCPilots is an email list for local area pilots and others in aviation, but not everything on the list has to be about local topics. If it's something that you might talk about with another pilot, then it's appropriate for DCPilots -- as long as you are a local pilot. DCPilots is spam-free (and calorie-free!) To subscribe to DCPilots, send a blank email to dcpilots-subscribe at yahoogroups.com, or visit http://www.dcpilots.net. --Bill Adler |

Why would you choose a name so similar to the longstanding DCpilots.org? Are you intentionally trying to confuse the folks who might be interested in your list? Or is there another reason? |

I just don't think that's a very realistic expectation...
