Default Question

I have a un-confirmed report that there is now a air worthy (flying) DH
Mosquito in the USA.

I know of at least one (in NZ) that is being restored to flying
condition, but has not yet flown.

Anyone know anything about the flying Mossie?

Thanks
Graham

The rumor I have heard is the Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection
is restoring one, but I'm not aware of it's status.

Golly, it would be a treat to see one fly...

Default Question

This is news to me, however I know that there is one being built in
Australlia (did I spell that right?) and it should be ready in about a year.
I know about the group in Windsor, ONT, but hadn't heard if it was to fly.
It kept changing from static to airworthy. I didn't know wbout the one in
Vancouver, that would be nice to have. The only one I knew in the US was
Kermit Weeks' aircraft in Oshkosh, but understood it wasn't in the best
condition to fly.
There is the possibility of a replica being built at the Canadian Air and
Space Museum (same place where the replica Avro Arrow was built) in Toronto,
ONT, but this is still be discussed. This would be a non-flying aircraft.
