I would say we couldn't get anybody worse but have learned not to
underestimate the government.

You weren't around for Lizzy Dole back in the Reagan days.
You don't know what worse is.
Minetta was pretty good as Sec of Trans go.
He is probably on of the most knowlegable.

I sure was around for Lizzy. She is one reason I no longer
underestimate
the government.

Liddy Dole was instrumental, as the self-styled "safety secretary," for
the proliferation of Class B and C airspace throughout the country. She
followed the complete party line of the airlines in trying to banish the
"Little Guys" from major airports.

Such a rousing success it's been.
