Hi Mike,

I'm pretty sure that Andrej is off on a soaring vacation. He has been
responding to my e-mails every week or 2, but not nearly as quickly as
usual. I imagine he is a bit behind on responding to e-mails. Please be
patient. I'm sure he'll get back to you soon. It wouldn't hurt to re-sent
e-mails every week or 2 in case past e-mails are so far down his inbox that
he won't get to them for a while.

Best Regards,

I find these long mysterious disapearances of the SeeYou crew annoying
and also unprofessional.

The unanswered questions on their forum are building up. As so, I'm
sure, are the emails, of which two are mine.

I moved over to SeeYou from a SoarPilot (which was free). The main
reason for the move was for gliding software on modern hardware. I
bought an Oudie,

However, SP's support is a 1000 times better than SY's, and SP cost
nothing and SY costs a lot.
SP also has some serious good features that the SY developers refuse
to implement.

Back when I got my first PDA, I emailed Navitar with some questions
about See You Moblile. By the time I got an answer, I had installed
and had been using XCSoar for a week, and found it did everything I
needed. They also have a forum, and I've never had a question un-
answered for more than 24 hours. It's also free, and I'm a cheap SOB.

SoarPilot is free and has the best product support I have ever
experienced. Plus it is fun to assemble an awsome GPS nav computer
out of a bunch of free junk! I like the Oudie but there is always a
couple of guys at every pilot meeting scratching their heads and
trying to get the Oudie going. I have never seen a SoarPilot user
staring blankly at the PDA screen.

I don't know why Andrej isn't responding to your messages, as he's
always been very responsive during the 6 years I've been using SeeYou
Mobile. Have you tried contacting one of the USA representatives? From
the Naviter site:

Name Position Phone Fax
Roy McMaster SeeYou USA 607-734-4308 607-734-4309
Terry Honikman SeeYou USA West 805 967 9757 805 967 0608

Hi Tony,

Please send your question to me and I'll forward it to Andrej.

I'm sure he has reasons why he has been somewhat slow to respond lately.
Overall his support has been excellent.

I couldn't agree more.
With all my years behind a PC and software used, I have never
encountered support anything close to that of SP.

For example: I had a problem. He customised SP, JUST FOR ME, and
posted an updated beta within a few days.

Most questions get answered within hours, not days. And this is done
for free.

It's just sad that such a great piece of software is slowly dying as
Palm OS is dead and ancient.
