Pardon me for not knowing that much about modern jets, but is that a black
stain in front of the fin, or is it part of the camo.
If it's a stain, what caused it.

TIA,

Dennis

I already thought so, by the look of it, but didn't know these jets had
them too.
Thinking about it, I shouldn't know why these jets should NOT have thrust
reversers.

Thanx for explaining.

Cheers,

Dennis

Some do. The demand was a multirole feighter for short strips or
motorway strips, in case the airfields became destroyed.
This is a cold war design to be operated within closest range to combat
zone (eg. cold war Germany).

Thinking about it, I shouldn't know why these jets should NOT have thrust
reversers.

On more system to raise costs per unit, one more system to maintain, one
more system to fail, and so on...

If you are going to take that attitude (efficiency), then you will eliminate
war, and the military altogether.
