Default ah another beautiful day

Woke up this morning and just didn't want to go to work. :-)

So I did the next best logical thing, I went to the airport and went
flying. Picked up a friend (non-pilot) at Nashua and did some slow
flight around his house so he could talk some pics. Around Mt. Monadnock
in S. New Hampshire and back to Fitchburg.

No winds, CAVU, no bumps, no runs, no hits, no errors.

Flying. What a thing we enjoy!

cheers,
KC

You picked an absolutely perfect day for it. ;-}

Cheers, mate.

Thanks for the note. Happy you had a good one. Here's to many more.

Sure wish I could've done the same here, but unfortunately if I played
hooky from work the harsh consequence would be that I could not then
afford to buy fuel to go flying on the weekend, and my poor airplane's
tanks presently only have a scant few gallons in them at the moment
since I cut my VFR legal reserve margin really close the last time I
flew it. An autofuel STC sure is starting to look mighty appealing to
become my next "upgrade".

Thanx for the memory.. I learned to fly at ASH and have flown around (and
climbed) Mt Monadnock more than once.
Is the ice cream stand at Jaffery still open? That was always a fun date
trip.. fly to Jaffery for ice crème.

Yup Silver Ranch. The ice cream is still there. I've yet to go into
Jaffrey. I've only shot the VOR approach there. That is a fun one on a
windy winter day. That wind wrapping around Mt. Surabachi (Monadnock)
makes for a fun approach!

My motto:

Even a bad day of flying is better than a good day at work.
