Congrats Jay!

Thanks, Rod!

It's generated a lot of nice "buzz" for us. And working with the folks
from AOPA was great.

Quite a bit different than a couple of years ago when you attempted to
work with AOPA in offering AOPA discounts at your inn.

Yes, I have discovered that the journalistic side of AOPA is quite different
from their business side. Better, by far.

Last time I tried to contact their business office about our 20% discount to
AOPA members, they wouldn't even return emails. (Of course, that was over a
year ago, and before I became their airport support network representative
here in Iowa City. Maybe I should try 'em again?)

Jay,

It's a great article. Having you and your wife as the lead in made it
even better.

You two are proof positive that hard work sometimes does pay off.

Warmest regards,
Rick

First he "advertises" on these newsgroups. Now he's "advertising" in AOPA.
Will he stop at nothing... VBG

And, just think -- you started it all, way back when we had, what two or
three of the theme suites mostly done? Your wonderful AvWeb article about
the Inn got us aimed in the right direction and kept interest up in the
pilot community. Here we are, two years later, and we are now over half
done, with 13 different theme suites, the lobby done, the balconies
refurbished, the landscaping revamped, and a billion other little things
accomplished!

And, gosh, there's "only" 14 more suites to go....

*groan*
