My right seater and I got nice matching hats
(http://world.std.com/~jmac/arrow_hat.jpg). And there was an emergency
glass-breaking device under the tree, and some dividers for my approach
plates... and a chart subscription, and a CH yoke. I'd been wanting to buy
myself one for a while, so that was a nice treat.

But the most important part was to know that my family and dearest friends
want to share another year of flying with me.

You have to be born into Montblanc's family to receive one as a gift
from him. I tried to convince him that I was part of his aviation
family, but he didn't buy it (in more ways than one).

We got another cow ...donated in our name. That's two cows in two years. Is
that a herd yet? I'm calling it a herd!

Sorry, you have to have one bull and one cow to start a herd.

A gorgeous day in Northern Colorado for flying...
55 degrees F, no wind, few clouds,
completed a flight review for a pilot who has been weathered out since
mid November!

Colorado is GRAND!

Best regards,

Jer/ "Flight instruction/mountain flying are my vocation!" Eberhard

...except for what you got (or didn't get, perhaps?) Bob :-)

Christmas isn't quite over yet... but I didn't get anything aviation
specific. I was hoping others had more luck. :-)

Maybe you could convince Rutan to put them into orbit next year...then you'd
have the herd shot 'round the world.
