Default Vc gear fixed!

I would like to thank everyone who made suggestions regarding the difficulty in both raising and lowering the gear on my Ventus C.
Turns out the culprit was the castle nut on the axel was way too tight. I loosened it to only hand tight and installed a new pip pin (sp?) Works like it was designed to do.
Again - thanks for all the suggestions.
