We're planning on selling a manually controlled turbocharger installation
for C185 aircraft with IO-520 or IO-550 engines. Price will be in the
$20k range. Anyone interested?

[All but rec.owning snipped]

C185 aircraft with IO-520 or IO-550 engines:
MC Turbocharger: With vs. Without

What at the (approx) performance specs (before/after) the customer might
expect to see?

Thanks.

It's the only kind I would consider using.... unless the controllers have
gotten smarter. Most turbo kits (even turbo-normalizers) I've seen make full boost
that's throttled by the throttle plate... bad plan. If that's not the case, it's more
interesting.
