That Shuttle glide simulator...
Picking up on an old thread, I've just discovered that I still have a
copy of that old PC Shuttle Simulator program, SALS387.EXE, which was written for an Intel 80387 or 80486DX and needs a joystick unless you just want to sit and watch the ride. IIRC it ran under bare MSDOS or (probably) Windows 3.11, so I guess it should also run under WINE on any Intel-based Linux system. Of course it would help to have a joystick too, provided its one that plugs into a modern PC. -- Martin | martin at Gregorie | gregorie dot org
